What We Believe.

How To Know You Are Going To Heaven

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. Romans 10:9-13 NKJV

What We Believe

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. (1 Thess. 2:13) (2 Tim. 3:16 ) (2 Pet. 1:19-21)

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit… Co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections. (Deu 6:4) (Mat 28:19)

a. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; and that He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. (John 16:8-11) (Rom 8:9) (1 Cor 12:12-14) (2 Cor 3:6) (Eph 1:13-14 )

b. We Believe He is the divine Teacher who guides believers into all truth; and that it is the privilege and duty of all the saved to be filled with the Spirit. (John 16:13) (Eph 5:18) (1 John 2:20) (1 John 2:27)

a. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin (Mary), and He is true God and true man. (Luke 1:35 NKJV) (John 1:2) (John 1:14)

b. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. (Rom 4:25) (1Cor 15:3-4) (Eph 1:7) (1 Pet 2:24)

c. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven where He is now exalted at the right hand of God, and ministers as High Priest and Intercessor. (Acts 1:9) (Acts 1:10) (Heb 4:14) (Heb 7:25) (1 John 2:1)

d. We believe that “Blessed Hope”, the personal, imminent, pre-tribulation, and pre-millennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for redeemed ones, and in His subsequent return to the earth with His saints to establish His Millennial Kingdom. (Zec 14:4-11) (Rev 3:10) (Rev 19:11-16) (Rev 20:1-6)

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, –inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; and that man is totally depraved, of himself utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Gen 1:26-27) (Rom 5:12) (Eph 2:1-3) (Eph 2:12)

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. (John 1:12) (Eph 1:7) (Eph 2:8-10) (1 Pet 1:18-19)

a. We believe all true believers are saved with an eternal salvation, are kept by God’s power, and are thus secure in Christ forever. (John 6:37-39) (John 10:28) (Rom 8:38-39) (1Cor 1:4-8) (Phil 1:6)

b. We believe that the true believer is responsible to live a godly, consistent Christian life, and that the evidence of saving faith is manifested in a true desire to live in a manner that is pleasing to God. (Rom 8:5-9) (1 John 3:5-9)

We believe that those born again possess two natures and that they may be victorious over the old through the power of the Holy Spirit, but that eradication of the old is unscriptural. (Rom 8:5-9) (Eph 4:22-24) (1 John 3:5-9)

a. We believe that God is sovereign in the bestowment of all His gifts; and that the gifts of evangelists, pastors, and teachers are sufficient for the work of the ministry. ( 1 Cor 13:8) (2 Cor 12:12) (Eph 4:11-12)

b. We believe that God does hear and answer prayer of faith in accord with His own will, for the sick and afflicted. (James 5:13-15) (1John 5:14-15)

We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon our Savior and Lord; and that separation from all worldly and sinful pleasures and practices is commanded by God. We further believe that the Scriptures teach that those “born again” should not marry or have other entangling alliances with unbelievers. (Rom 12:1) (Rom 12:2) (Rom 14:13) (2Cor 6:14) (2Cor 7:1) (1John 2:15) (1John 2:16) (1John 2:17)

a. We believe that the church is an elect company of believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body; its mission is to witness concerning its Head, Christ Jesus, preaching the Gospel among all nations. (Mat 28:19-20) (1Cor 12:12-13) (Col 1:18)

b. We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament. The local church should be self-governing, self-supporting, and self- propagation. (Acts 14:27) (Gal 1:2) (Titus 1:5-11)

We believe that the ordinances of water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper to be Scriptural and therefore proper methods of testimony for the church in this age. (Mat 28:19-20) (Acts 8:38) (1Cor 11:23-26)

We believe in the “Blessed Hope,” The personal, imminent, pre-tribulation and pre-millennial, return of our Lord and Savior. (Acts 1:11) (1Th 1:10) (1Th 4:13-18) (1Th 5:9) (Rev 3:10) (Rev 20:4-6)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (Mat 25:46) (John 5:28-29) (2 Cor 5:8) (Phil 1:23) (Rev 20:11-15)
